For your self catered stay, the kitchen is fitted with a modern hob, oven, and fridge/freezer to ensure that you can cook up a storm. You'll always find something to do in Calahonda. For golfers you are an approximate 10 minute drive from Cabopino Golf and 7 minutes from Miraflores Golf.
Calahonda itself is well positioned on the Costa del Sol being centrally located. Both Marbella and Fuengirola are around a 20 minutes drive in either direction. From Fuengirola you can get the train all the way to the cultural gem that is Malaga if you want to venture out further during your stay.

Matchroom Country Club, overlooking Mijas Golf is close to everything, but it's in quiet and friendly place. You will have access to the communal gardens and a communal pool.
A rental car is recommended if you wish to explore the area. However, if a driving holiday is not on the agenda you can get a taxi from the hotel reception, which offer a fantastic service and are inexpensive. The resort is fully enclosed to ensure guests enjoy their stay with privacy guaranteed. Matchroom is perfectly positioned to visit Fuengirola, one of the most popular beach towns on the coast. Children will especially enjoy a day at the aqua park and the zoo.
Matchroom Country Club is less than a 30-minute drive from Malaga Airport. Marbella and Torremolinos are also located a short drive away. From Malaga airport you can take a train to Fuengirola (the main railway station) and from there it's approximately 7 minutes by taxi. This would cost €10 euros.
We do recommend a car however if you opt to not hire a car then you will have the option of local taxi companies plus UBER which are all excellent value and easy to use.

This fully equipped two bedroom, two bathroom property can comfortably sleep up to four guests. There is a king size bed in the master room and a double bed in the second room.
